I was giving my opinion, and I know not everyone shares my view. I don't mind a poll now and again, but what I have noticed, most polls on forums are created by board users only trying to increase their post count by making a poll that usually is pointless, to use an example from here, the two Who Would Kick Ass polls, in my opinion didn't add anything to the site, and I did skip it.
The poll by Trif on should the site have one forum or multiples, a good example of a useful poll.
