Can someone tell me about the following BRP monographs- BRP creatures and Brp Magic? What type of creatures are in the Creatures monograph? Is the magic from RQIII?

Yes, basically that version of the BRP system is RQ3 with all references to Gloriantha removed.

No problem. Save yourself some cash and just use the RQ3 material and change any Gloranthan reference to suit your campaign.
