Default Playtest Questions

I see that the BRP is at the point of being released, and having had a Playtest copy from Charlie I was wondering if you could confirm if any of the following issues we found have been resolved.

Right from the start the question was if Basic Roleplaying was intended as a set of generic rules to work with any setting such as HERO or GURPS, of was a compendium of BRP games - ultimately I'm afraid that we found it doesn't really work as either.

Time and time again we found that to make the rules here work we had to reference the original games, with Stormbringer and Superworld being required throughout. For what is 300+ pages and still incomplete this is kind of worrying.

The Superworld rules used were not errataed - one of our guys at the table had a more up to date PDF which made much more sense.

CHARATER CREATION
What is a Wizards Prime Stat? - we used EDU, but as an optional rule is this supposed to be INT or POW.

What use is the Perform Ritual Skill - it doesn't fit with the Magic Skills?

Brawl shown as 50% on Character Sheet, but 25% on P.53.

If you split your Brawl attack do you also split your Martial Arts Skill to match?

If you don't then Martial Arts is far too cheap.

Defence, is it 1 Point for 1% (P.148) or 1 Point for 5% (P.144)?

How does Natural Armour (P.106) if combined with powers from Superworld where multiple Energy types exist?

ENERGY TYPES
Ten Energy types is way too many - the three in Superworld may not be enough, but please cap this at 5 otherwise it makes buying any kind of defence virtually impossible.

AURA ATTACKS
(P. 212) Should include Character Status in some situations, noted mostly where intimation was required.
