I like your reason! Further justification for my purchase (not that I need any). Now I don't have to worry about when it will finally be published. I can sit back with this copy and patiently wait. I can put that effort into worrying about when Pulp Cthulhu will finally be published! What can I say, the traits addition in Pulp Cthulhu looks to be very interesting.

I wonder if there are enough of us that are crazy enough to buy these to convince Chaosium to do this with Pulp Cthulhu as well?

Default Proof Copy

I bought one. Over the years, I've seen too many cool RQ things disappear before they saw light of day, so I want to ensure I get my hands on this one. Then I can start converting my campaign and pushing my gaming group to all buy copies when it comes out.

I won't. It's too expensive to be sent to France.
I will have to wait for the normal edition, and standard imports.

[Evil Idea ON]Perhaps all European BRP fans should start lobbying to ask Chaosium for a PDF version of the draft 0 edition which we could buy...[/Evil Idea OFF]

Me and a friend are doing what we usually do once or twice a year - pick enough Chaosium stuff that we both want that it qualifies for free shipping (currently $175+). Admittedly, that means we're unlikely to see stuff until some time in February, but I'm a patient soul#

# ignoring the fact that I am buying an "Advanced Reader's Copy" of BRP in the full and certain klnowledge I'll buy at least one copy of the proper book when it comes out... *sigh*

Is that for international shipping too?

Yes - I'm in the UK (to which their basic shipping isn't hideously expensive anyway), but as far as I am aware the "orders over $XX free" deal (it was $120 originally) has always been anywhere in the world - it's just slow (typically takes 6 - 8 weeks to the UK).

Cheers,

Nick Middleton
