I am used to french edition of Chaosium books (Both Oriflam and Jeux Descartes), whose hardbacks were, to say the least, very sturdy. All of them are still here, after years of usage.
But I agree some are not so resilient (Games Workshop forex).

After having several MRQ books fall apart on me, I'd be quite happy to pay a higher price for a sturdy BRP core book. If they did a leather bound one, like that special edition CoC book.... dear me, my inner Biblomaniac is acting up again.

I definitely want a hardback. I love the fact that nearly all the new WFRP books are hardback, it makes them nearly impossible for me to resist

Was it glued or bound/stiched?

These were glued books. From their new printing facility I understand.

I just realized... are you talking about the Mongoose books or the CoC special edition? The mongoose ones were glued of course and fell apart quickly. I never snagged a Copy of the Leather CoC book so I couldn't tell you if it were glued or stitched. I suspect it was stitched, but I won't know till I snag one off of E-bay.
