Erm, last time I visited my FLGS I asked for HeroQuest and they replied it went out of production in the nineties. Note that this GS used to belong to the company that was supposed to stage the "Resurrection of Glorantha" before Issaries was founded. But at least they sell Call of Cthulhu and so they're supposed to know what is a Chaosium. But I'm not waiting till the book gets shipped to Italy, I'll order it from Chaosium or Amazon before.

You figure that they've got to be printed, packed and shipped to Chaosium, who will then ship them to distributors (or some may go directly to distributors... I'm not sure how Chaosium does it). Then the distributor sends the books to Amazon. I'm just happy it will be out for Origins and Gen Con US.

Wow, just wow! I mean, I've been unconsciously holding my breath since you ended the playtesting. While having absolute confidence in Jason, I just couldn't let myself get too excited. My RQ3 books have been encased in carbonite, hoping one day that there will be a cure for pizza stains and failing bindings, but now I have a new book to look forward to, without all the cross-referencing.
I am totally stoked. Congrats Jason! |

I purchased the book download, was charged 11 bucks for ground shipping (huh?), and don't see it available in my account. I'm sure they'll figure it out. Last edited by Harshax : May 18th, 2008 at 03:35. |

The catalog lists two versions of the book, one for 39.95 and one for 25.95 and with exactly the same description. Perfect-bound etc. And then there is the pdf.
As Shaira says, a few teething problems probably ![]() More interesting is the little bit at the end: "This product will be in stock on Friday 13 June, 2008." And the bit to the left "Basic Roleplaying eTitles" May I join the "YAY!" choire? |
