One cool thing is that Free RPG day is a week later.

I'll be taking part in a round table discussion on roleplaying games at my favorite local game store on the 21st.

Hope they have copies of BRP on hand, as I shall ever-so-slightly promote it to the heavens.

Hmm... perhaps Charlie should have the old handout printed up to hand out, or some of the Cthulhu intro for that weekend, as a sample of things to come?

Yes, it seems a shame Chaosium isn't taking part. Where's the BRP QuickStart...?

As I've suggested before, an ultra-slimmed-down 4-page version (or even 2-page?) of the original BRP Introduction could be good, and let everyone print it for free. Anyone keen enough could print a hundred and post them through letterboxes like pizza-delivery flyers...

Make your own RPG rules with our Optional Rules (TM) system. Add what you like:
  • Hit Locations
  • Magic
  • Psionics
  • Skill Difficulties
  • Strike Ranks
  • Anchovies
  • Onions
  • Pepperoni

Order now - Delivery at your door in 30 minutes.

Hmm, perhaps I took this pizza flyer stuff too seriously...

OK, one large deep-pan RPG, please, with everything on it - except can I have extra anchovies instead of the Strike Ranks?

Maybe after DBRP is on the shelves, BRP0 could become the quick start rules? I assume that BRP0 is in reference to the 12 or 15 page booklet that goes for $10 bucks or so, right?

I understand "BRP0" as the nearly 400-page unproofed 'Edition Zero' of the soon-to-be-released BRP* - hardly a quick-start! But what I mean by the 'BRP Introduction' is the twenty-years-plus old 16-page pamphlet entitled "Basic Role-Playing - An Introductory Guide", yes.
(* And the 'D' dropped off 'DBRP' quite a while ago, I gather.)

I still subscribe to the conspiracy that the 'D' is Durall.

Except the D got dropped, and I stuck around.
