I know people who still refer to D&D as AD&D (presumably they assume that the A is in invisible ink) so why not BRP as DBRP. Of course a real conspiracy theorist would just say 'ah ha he would say that though' if you of all people point to the missing D!

Agreed. I think you also mentioned somewhere being a fan of WFRP. Funny how I made the same move. I ditched D&D for WFRP, and have not been disappointed with my choice.
