I'm glad the 'D' got dropped... BRP is more aesthetically pleasing to my eye... and 'Deluxe Basic Roleplaying' never sat well in my mindometer.

Is it D&D now, then?

Back when I played it, the game was AD&D and was different to the original D&D - more character classes, a more complex system and a hardback rulesbook that you could hit players over the head with.

I didn't know they had dropped the "A".

I think you can pre-order on Amazon. Course, I'm ordering mine through my FLGS, assuming they can get it from their vendor. I'm pretty sure they can since they carry CoC!

Amazon is taking preorders and not only can you get the Super Saver shipping deal, but you can get an extra $2 off the price (at least when I ordered it, you could).

Agreed. I think you also mentioned somewhere being a fan of WFRP. Funny how I made the same move. I ditched D&D for WFRP, and have not been disappointed with my choice.
