Polls?
While I find most on-line polls faintly amusing at best and totally pointless most of the time, the recent comments about different sub-forums made me think they could fill a role here. If you, Sverre would want to know what most of us think about a suggested change a poll could be helpful.

I think the forum has a poll-making possiblity allready. In any case, the new vBadvanced frontpage will sport a poll. So yes, polls are coming (if they're not here allready?).

If we get a wiki here some time in the future, what should we use it for?

Details on games held here, some sort of collaborative world building project, rules variants or something else I couldn't think of now?

Re: wiki idea. I like the idea of collecting all the variants for a particular rule all in one location for comparison. How many ways were there to treat an implale over the years?

I also like the idea of collaborative world building. Perhaps one of the things that can be done after the base parameters of geography are taken care of we can parcel out sections of it for detailing to people.

That's a good idea. Maybe some sort of rule index covering the different books that'll come over the next year. A boring and possibly long task, but it could be useful, searchable of course.

I don't have any personal experience in this, well not much anyway, but it seems these things tend to start off enthusiastically only to peter out. Everyone have their own ideas and they don't always mix well.
That said, some sort of world building could be fun.

It would be cool to have a sort of in-house setting for the group. Even if we don't actually run games in the setting privately, those who felt inclined could adapt their own stuff for it and put it here. Less ambitious than what the Gwenthia people do perhaps but ready to use stuff can only help BRP.
