Question Add more forums?

What do you think? When should we expand?

EDIT: And of course a PBP forum with subforums will be added when the book is out!

Settings are independent of the system so we can talk about that right now.

I say go for it.

I personally like multiple forums. I think we can produce enough material to justify it.

The off-topic stuff can get the Superman vs. Cheeseball stuff and the settings forum might encourage people to post information about their pet projects.

I think it's appropriate.

What brand of Cheesball? That's important y'know.

Just avoid too many sub forums. Some are often necessary, but I hate boards that have like a hundred sub forums when two would have done. I don't think this board needs them yet. But hopefully it will (by Christmas if all goes well!)

You can always reorganize later...

So far the voters seem to prefer more forums now. I'm a bit skeptical to it, but if the poll ends with a clear majority for more forums now I'll follow that.

Which brings up the question: What forums should be added?

Collect a list and make a poll on that, and add the top 3-5 or so.

"Rules", "Settings" & "Off-topic". Can't have more than that at this time. Then a "PBP" forum when the book is out. (If the end-result is more forums now.)

Yeah, I think the traffic is getting to the point where it's becoming confusing to navigate. I personally favour 3 forums at this point - rules, settings and Off-topic. Of course, with more inspiring names.

A settings forum would just have to be called "Worlds of Wonder"!
