Yeah, I have that free Radiance PDF as well, and it looks great. Very nice layout with great art.I'm sure the hard copy of it would be great to have....
I agree with Rosen, I would go with Sorcery from the BGB for any lengthy rite-based practice. Possibly call each spell a Rite if you dont want it to...
You can only spot, what you are able to see. Spotting something does not mean you are unable to see it. It is just the awareness to realise a detail...
It certainly stands as a similar system to BRP, despite the core mechanic being D20 rather than D100%. I really wish it had been brought out with BRP...
They already reached $35,000 out of their $40,000 target by half way through their first day on Kickstarter, I'ld say they'll definitely be bringing...
Check out Magic World, the Skill Categories are calculated simply, and the skill allocation is pretty quick, probably the quickest I have seen for a...
I was hanging out for RQ6 Briton but you can't have everything. The fact that 3rd Age Glorantha is going to be supported again by RQ is just awesome...
Introduced to rpgs through Fighting Fantasy gamebooks rpg back in 1984, and then to RuneQuest (2nd ed) in 1985. Updated to RuneQuest (3rd ed) in 1987, and never looked back. Played or GM'd RuneQuest, Call of Cthuhlu, and Stormbringer, before becoming a rpg system junkie - played or GM'd ICE (MERP, Rolemaster, Cyberspace,HARP), AD&D, White Wolf Storyteller (WoD series, Adventure, Aberent), Shadowrun, D&D 3E, GURPS, True20, and more recently Savage Worlds. Still waiting to try out Eclipse Phase and a FUDGE/FATE game such as Spirit Of The Century or The Kerebus Club. However, I've come full circle and returned to BRP as my all-time favourite system to consistently game in. It's just so logical, simple, and smooth; easily one of the best gaming engines by a long shot. Hard to know which is my 'go to' system these days, LEGEND/RQ6 or the BRP BGB/CoC 5E...
Current games:
Currently running: BRP Glorantha 3rd Age Campaign (basically BRP/RQ3 with some elements of DM RQ6
rules thrown in for good measure). Alternating this with my own home brew BRP Pulp Cthulhu 1920s/1930s setting, its alot of fun. Not playing as much as I would like, about a session every 2nd month is all we can fit in these days; work, wife & kids have to get some time as well!
Also loves: BRP Settings - ROME, The Laundry, Chronicles of Future Earth, Call of Cthulhu & Cthulhu By Gaslight, Celestial Empire, Dragon Lines, Crusaders of the Amber Coast, Aces High, The Green, Merrie England, Mythic Iceland, Pendragon (ok, its not BRP, but it is a cousin...) MRQ2/LEGEND Settings - Glorantha 2nd Age, Vikings, Clockwork & Chivalry, Dues Vult, Age Of Treason, RuneQuest 6, MagicWorld. I would love to try RQ6 as written, but my troupe is reluctant to convert from my RQ3 homebrew.
